With a background in teaching and leadership, Victoria brings a deep understanding of guidance, support, and personal development to her practice. What is Reflexology?

Reflexology, in one form or other, has been used for centuries to stimulate the body's self-healing processes, promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. An ancient painting in the tomb of Ankmahor, a revered Egyptian physician, illustrates patients undergoing foot and hand massage treatments.

The practice was developed in the early 1900's by Dr. William Fitzgerald into "Zone Therapy", and formalised in the 1930's by Physiotherapist, Eunice Ingham, into "reflexology" as we know it today. Reflexology is recommended by the NHS in the treatment of a number of conditions.

Using the "Ingham Method", Victoria regards the feet as a map of the body. Gently working the reflexes which correspond to bodily organs and systems, Victoria is able to identify and disperse build-ups of uric acid which represent a blockage. Once these blockages have been reduced or eradicated, the body is better able to heal its component parts and therefore the system as a whole may improve.

By relieving tension, improving circulation, and supporting overall well-being, reflexology may help with stress reduction, pain relief, better sleep, and enhanced energy levels. Suitable for all ages, it offers a calming and restorative experience, helping to bring the body and mind into harmony.
